Product Manager / Product Owner for CRM software

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Software Product Manager, organize our teams to ship the right product. You are responsible for prioritizing tasks for the development team by sprint planning, and you sign off on features to ensure they meet the determined acceptance criteria and overall market need. You serve as the point person for internal product related inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help to define a product vision, strategy, product requirements, and user stories.
Responsible for a quality end-to-end user experience with our software: wire-frame and test UX/UI.
Write clear, market-driven software features requirements and user stories for implementation.
Prepare and lead sprint planning: critically evaluate product feedback gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and identify highest priority needs
Inspect, accept or reject completed work from the development team
Demonstrate completed product functionality to internal sales and support teams at the completion of each sprint
Groom and prioritize a backlog of user stories, bugs, and technical debt items for development

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent in English
3+years in a Product Management role at a software company
University degree that helps you understand business logic and processes
Experience in UX/UI: able to create wire frames or low-fidelity prototypes to get user feedback
Experience in user research and/or usability testing
Skilled at writing concise, clear, and thorough requirements and user stories
Some experience with project management
Experience with CRM software
Experience working with JIRA
Analytical and number driven, comfortable in spreadsheets and data tools
Able to proactively and effectively communicate with developers, other team members, and company leaders
Experience with charities and understanding how charities operate in North America is a bonus

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full-time job in virtual office — 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) 8:30am to 5pm EST. (Eastern Standard Time). $1300 USD per month.
